Two inch toy gun brings down Nanny

A student took a two-inch toy gun to school and is facing suspension. The parents are too understanding in my opinion. This, however, is precisely how bureaucratic management works. Rules are made, flexibility is destroyed, and absurd rules are enforced because everyone is terrified to buck the system.
