I'm baffled as to how between four police officers not one of them realized this was concrete BEFORE they started firing off their guns. Let us assume, for a second, that it was a live alligator. Even then I can't see why these trigger-happy Keystone cops would automatically have the gator killed. If gators are lying next to a pond best to leave them alone and get animal control to move them. Killing something really ought not be the first thing to come a cop's mind. It's not like its a family pet that has to be summarily executed anytime cops step on private property.
