Right-wing buffoon murdered.

Eugene Terreblanche, a right-wing buffoon in South Africa was murdered on his farm. The leader of the extremist Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging (Afrikaner Resistance Movement - AWB) was hacked to death as he was napping.

This follows a racist outburst by the leader of the African National Committee Youth League, who led ANC members in signing a song calling for the murder of white farmers. The ANC is the ruling party in South Africa.

Terreblanche was a nasty man who appeared more comedic than threatening. The AWB attempted to engage in some terrorist activities, but never on the level of the ANC, and were viewed by most as more entertaining than threatening.

Terreblance was the sworn enemy of classical liberal groups in South Africa, a role now filled by the ANC and its Tri-party alliance (the Communist Party, and the Congress of South African Trade Unions).

I can't say he'll be missed.
