Test the weapons on American civilians!

If President Bush is known for putting his foot in his mouth with the outlandish things he says then can the administration criticize a major Bush Administration official who wants to test new weapons on Americans before using them in war?

It is almost impossible to believe that Michael Wynne, Secretary of the Air Force, actually went public with this idea. Apparently the military is studying something called "nonlethal weapons" including high-power microwave devices. He says that the problem is the military is reluctant to use the weapons becuse they don't what injuries might be caused by these so-called "nonlethal" weapons. And if used overseas it might cause injuries well beyond what was expected and the military might be criticized for it.

So to avoid the criticism he wants to use the weapons on civilians in "crowd control" situations. He whined: "If we're not willing to use it here against our fellow citizens, then we should not be willing to use it in a wartime situation." My god! It's Hitler reincarnated. If this doesn't show the utter moral bankruptcy of the Bush regime what would?

Now the Secretary doesn't want to use them in a war because he doesn't know exactly how much harm they may cause to combatants. Instead he wants to use them in a non-military situation against American civilains who are acting as some experiment to determine just how much harm these weapons cause. Exactly how far will the Bush regime go? And why are Americans sitting on their butts. Either they ought to be working to end this government or packing their bags for a sane country.
