The Magical Moving Hotel

Not really magical but certainly fascinating. Watch them move this massive old hotel, built in the late 1800s it is a landmark building in Auckland. A traffic tunnel needs to be built and it would go directly under the location of the hotel. So they are moving the hotel out of the way, building the tunnel, and then will move the hotel back to its original spot. This is time lapsed photography because the move is a very slow process, but it is something to see the building inching over this way.
