This show was the British equivalent of Sesame Street. However, this skit was not filmed for showing. It was part of a staff skit that the cast put on that was videotaped. Playing their television characters for this rather rude skit is precisely what makes this so funny. I dare say it will be the most famous episode in the history of the series.
