Haggard fired for sexual immorality

Rev. Ted Haggard, a confidant of George Bush, the former head of the National Association of Evangelicals, and a leader in the campaign to deny equality to gay couples in Colorado lost his job for sexual immorality with a male prostitute.

Apparently the church committee investigating his claims had trouble believing his stories in light of the evidence that was available.
