Guess who's coming to dinner.

The European Union is playing on race fears in their campaign on global warming.

The latest EU report by the EU’s foreign affiars chief Javier Solana said that warming is not just a threat but “a threat multiplier.” The report says that warming will produce shortages of food and water especially in Africa. This, they say, will lead to “forced immigration” of Africans to Europe. As the BBC reports: “Africa is likely to be especially at risk, which means migration could intensify, both within Africa itself and towards Europe.”

Perhaps they felt that claims of melting ice caps, the destruction of polar bears and flooding various nations just wasn’t enough. Now they want Europeans to fear that warming will cause Africans to move into the neighborhood. It’s a global warming version of Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner.
